Who We Support
A main goal of Mindscapes PGH is to raise money for local organizations providing mental health services for communities in Pittsburgh. These include:
Steel smiling
Steel Smiling bridges the gap between Black people and mental health support through education, advocacy and awareness. They provide training for Black youth to become community mental health workers through their Beams to Bridges program, and coordinate a variety of other education and advocacy initiatives.
Pittsburgh Mercy’s Operation Safety Net
Operation Safety Net is a medical and social service outreach program for persons experiencing homelessness in Allegheny County. They provide both mental health care services as well as other medical aid, food, shelter, clothing and legal services through their street outreach, Wellspring Drop-In Center and Winter Shelter.
